Tom Maraist

Equipped with a BS degree from LSU in Construction Management, Tom began his career that now spans over three decades in general contracting, commercial property management, maintenance and new site development.

As as an owner's representative for both Whitney National Bank and First Commerce Corp., he successfully managed the development of scores of bank branches across the Gulf Coast region. He continued in development consulting and project management until McDonald's Corporation hired him to acquire sites for new restaurants in the Mid-South (Memphis-Little Rock) and Midwest (St. Louis-Kansas City) regions. He also spent two years with McDonald's Worldwide Development team in Oakbrook, IL as their manager of real estate training where he specialized in field training, coaching and assisting with difficult and complex development projects across the world.

In 2015, he returned home to his native State, Louisiana, and worked as the Development Lead for a local developer in "build-to-suit" developments for Dollar General and other national retailers in Louisiana, the Mid-South, West Virginia & Maryland.

In November 2017, Tom joined Talbot Realty Group of New Orleans, LA and currently resides in his hometown of Baton Rouge.
