Matt Eaton launched his commercial real estate career in 2005 and has since become one of New Orleans' leading professionals in the acquisition and disposition of commercial properties. Licensed in both Louisiana and Mississippi, Matt brings a wealth of expertise and dedication to his role as a Partner at Southeast Commercial Real Estate, where he represents buyers, sellers, landlords, and tenants in negotiating sales and leases to benefit his clients.

Education and Early Career

Matt graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2004 with a double major in English and Psychology. He obtained his real estate license in March 2005, quickly focusing on the sale and leasing of commercial properties. His educational background and early career experiences have honed his negotiating skills, enabling him to successfully manage and coordinate a variety of real estate transactions.

Professional Accomplishments

Matt has sold and leased numerous retail and office/industrial spaces throughout Louisiana and Mississippi. His expertise is recognized through the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation, awarded by the CCIM Institute. This designation signifies his proficiency in commercial real estate brokerage, leasing, asset management, valuation, and investment analysis.

Matt currently serves as President of the Louisiana CCIM Chapter and has been an active member of the Board of Directors. In 2017, Matt was elected by his peers as President of the New Orleans Commercial Investment Division (CID).
