John Moss

John partnered with Retail Specialists, Inc. in 2009, as a managing partner of the New Orleans office. John will handle the day to day operations of the office as well as brokerage responsibilities. We are excited to have John on board as his knowledge and attention to client service is parallel with the values of RSI. The New Orleans office will expand the RSI footprint into Louisiana and Mississippi.

As a New Orleans native, John began his real estate career as a Sales and Leasing Executive with Stirling Properties where his primary focus was the leasing, sales, and development of shopping centers. He also assisted national, regional, and local retailers with market analysis, site selection, LOI and lease negotiations. While at Stirling Properties, John received the First Year Excellence Award 2005 for shopping center leasing.

In 2006, John joined SRSA Commercial Real Estate Inc. where he focused on retail tenant representation and shopping center leasing. John has represented many national and local clients including the following: PETCO, The Sports Authority, CVS, The Vitamin Shoppe, Snap Fitness, Hooters, Quiznos, WOW Wingery, P.J.'s Coffee, Menchies Yogurt, 5 Guys Burgers and Fries, Massage Envy, and Little Caesar's Pizza.

In addition to being a licensed Louisiana real estate agent and a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) candidate, John has been a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) since 2004. John now serves as the Next Generation chairperson for the ICSC.

John is a graduate of Ole Miss (with a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Restaurant Management and a minor in Business Administration) and Metairie Park Country Day School. John enjoys fishing, competitive sailing, and most importantly spending time with his family and friends.
