Fred Credeur has a passion for teaching, helping people and of course making an impact. Fred was born
and raised in Opelousas, Louisiana and now lives in Lafayette, LA. He received his degree from the
University of Louisiana. He started his career as a teacher and a coach. He took a leap of faith and
started his own business, Credeur Specialties, which he poured his heart into it for almost decades. In
addition, Fred was the owner of some commercial property. This experience allows Fred to offer his
clients the unique outlook and expertise so essential in today's ever evolving market.
 
Since Fred has extensive and invaluable experience in helping others in a service setting; real estate
offers an extension of his desire to help friends and clients to successfully reach their property
ownership dreams and goals.
 
Fred has been a member of the St. Landry Chamber of Commerce Board, President of the Queen of
Angels Church Council, President of the Opelousas Sertoma Club, Chapter Advisor of SAE social
fraternity on the UL campus, and SAE Alumni of the year twice. Fred has also served on the UL Alumni
Executive Board. Additionally, he served in the Louisiana National Guard 256 th  Engineers.
 
Fred Credeur has a desire to help people, a passion for real estate and a love for good wine and
conversation. Fred is married to his college sweetheart and has two married sons in New Orleans and
Tampa, Florida. He is a proud grandfather to two little girls. He and his wife enjoy exercising, traveling,
and dining out.  They are members of Holy Cross Catholic church
