A local institution since the 1870s, "when mule drawn street cars ran from the downtown area to nearby outlying areas", SporTran is taking a visionary approach to this mixed-use redevelopment, which houses a portion of their corporate offices. In addition, SporTran is constructing an electric car charging station across the street, which will be one of the most convenient and attractive charging stations along the I-20 corridor.
