Doug Bernard, CCIM, is a commercial/investment real estate broker whose career has been dedicated to helping investors, developers, business owners, homeowners, and property owners make informed real estate decisions and create long-term value.
As Broker/Owner of REMAX Alliance, Doug leads a full-service real estate advisory and brokerage firm providing residential and commercial brokerage, leasing, property management, investment sales, site selection, development consulting, and strategic real estate advisory services.
Throughout his career, Doug has participated in the acquisition, financing, leasing, asset management, repositioning, development, and disposition of several hundred million dollars of real estate assets. His experience includes land, retail, office, industrial, mixed-use, multifamily, and investment properties.
Doug has built REMAX Alliance around professionalism, collaboration, and agent development. The brokerage provides comprehensive training for residential and commercial agents, supported by modern marketing resources, CRM platforms, digital transaction management, practical artificial intelligence capabilities, and a full-time in-house technology specialist.
Doug also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Loyola University New Orleans, where he teaches graduate-level Real Estate Investment and Finance. He previously served as Chairman of Christopher Homes and Chairman of St. Anthony’s Gardens.
Doug holds the CCIM designation and is licensed as a Real Estate Broker in Louisiana and Mississippi.
