Trey Underwood joined Vintage Realty Company in 2025, specializing in commercial brokerage and leasing along the I-20 corridor, including Ruston, Monroe, Rayville, and Shreveport-Bossier. He is actively involved in all aspects of commercial real estate investment and development in North Louisiana, with expertise in retail, land, medical, office, industrial, and development projects.
A Bossier City native, Trey has deep roots in North Louisiana. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Louisiana Tech University before pursuing his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at LSU, graduating in 2004. That same year, he moved to Ruston to begin his veterinary career and, in 2006, founded Petstar Animal Care. Under his leadership, Petstar grew into a thriving veterinary franchise with multiple locations across several parishes.
Trey’s passion for real estate began over two decades ago, leading him to acquire and manage commercial-residential properties, recreational tracts, and agricultural land throughout Louisiana and Arkansas. His experience evolved into assisting others with real estate investment and development, ultimately leading him to obtain his real estate license from the Louisiana Real Estate Commission in 2021.
Outside of real estate, Trey enjoys the outdoors, particularly hunting and fishing, and is actively involved in youth sports, coaching high school softball and youth baseball. He and his wife, Jessica, reside in Ruston with their three children.
