El Sido's Zydeco & Blues Club has been offering live entertainment in Acadiana since 1984. Former acts include Clifton Chenier, Buckwheat Zydeco, Rockin Doopsie, John Delafosse, Beau Jacque, Nathan & the Zydeco Cha Chas, and many more. A historical Lafayette entertainment spot for nearly forty years, its reputation extends west to California including all of Texas, east to Georgia and all points in between, actually country wide. The entertainers that have performed at El Sido’s have performed nationally and internationally, have won music awards and accolades industry wide. Each enthusiastically recall their roots or experiences within the walls of El Sido’s. Upon entering through the covered front entrance which includes a ticket/fee collection booth, a 4,000 square ft building, a 22x14’ stage illuminated with 14 track lights. There is a 14 x 14’ Dressing room as well as a 14x14’ vented room which was formerly used as a kitchen and currently used as a DJ booth or changing area for entertainers. There is a full bar which extends 14+’. Additionally, there are 2 bathrooms, 4 HVAC systems, furnishings including tables and chairs, game tables and 433’ of available parking .Location is key as it is minutes from I-10 and I-49 corridor
