Michele Casi has been practicing commercial real estate since 1996 and joined Property One, Inc. in 2018 as the Director of Operations - Baton Rouge. Shortly thereafter, Michele was promoted to Managing Director of Property Management and in 2021 to Chief Executive Officer.

Casi possesses an extensive background in commercial real estate including brokerage, portfolio management, facility and property management, due diligence, operating analysis, performance reporting, distressed assets, workouts and restructuring. She is also adept with extensive leasing knowledge and innovative marketing techniques.

Michele's previous experience includes the management and disposition of Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) portfolios for major companies such as Jones Lang LaSalle, Brookfield Asset Management and Trammell Crow Company.

With a career spanning over three decades of real estate and financial experience, Miguel Castro Jr. brings an unparalleled depth of expertise to Castro Real Estate Services. Since 1996, he has guided clients through complex real estate markets, combining sharp industry insight with a client-first approach.

Miguel is also a proud veteran, having served his country from 1992 to 2002 in the Louisiana Army National Guard as an Artillery Sergeant—a tenure that instilled in him the discipline, leadership, and integrity he brings to his business every day.

He holds a degree in Finance with a concentration in Investments and Real Estate from the University of New Orleans. 

Before founding CRES, Miguel spent 17 years in the banking industry working for one of the world's most respected global financial institutions. This extensive background allows him to offer clients distinct advantages in commercial banking, investment strategies, and real estate financing.

Outside of the office, Miguel lives in the Baton Rouge area with his wife and three children. He is a member of Healing Place Church, where he always finds an uplifting message, and he is an avid golfer.

Jennifer joined our John Rea family back in September of 2015. Taking advantage of the opportunity to work with a leading commercial and residential developer, Jennifer learned firsthand the skill set required to be successful in commercial real estate. While continuing to work in commercial development, specifically restoration in Downtown Monroe's Historic District, Jennifer decided to step in full time as a licensed real estate agent in October of 2016.

Having achieved highest number of Commercial and Land New Listings, Listings Closed, and Sales Closed for 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 with production sales totaling well over 60 Million, Jennifer has proven herself more than capable and connected in the commercial market.

Will joins JRE as the Director of Brokerage. He specializes in advising retail landlords, tenants, and developers. Since entering the brokerage industry in 2019, he has transacted over 2,200,000 square feet and $100+ million in total volume. Will represents several high-profile retail developments in Louisiana and advises numerous notable tenants on statewide expansion. His deep market knowledge and proven strategies enable clients to close transactions successfully in any environment.

Will’s favorite part of the job is introducing new retailers and restaurants for the people of Louisiana to enjoy. His dedication to improving the community—both through his work and charitable efforts—earned him recognition as one of Baton Rouge’s 40 Under 40 in 2023.

A Louisiana native, Will was raised in Shreveport before moving to Baton Rouge to attend Louisiana State University, where he graduated from the LSU Flores MBA Program. After graduation, he worked in Houston with Chevron USA, negotiating oil and gas leases in the Permian Basin to expand Chevron’s acreage portfolio. He later returned to Baton Rouge to join a growing urgent care operator, where he led real estate site selection and conducted market analysis nationwide to identify growth opportunities for the company’s 15+ partnerships.

Will is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the retail real estate industry’s largest network, and regularly attends educational and networking events across the country to stay ahead of market trends. He and his wife, Taylor, are the proud parents of Bella, Chip, and Heidi. They are parishioners at St. George Catholic Church, enjoy weekend trips to the Gulf Coast, and attending LSU sporting events.
